Yo’ Care South Sudan continued its commitment to delivering lifesaving integrated primary healthcare services to vulnerable and hard-to-reach communities through its mobile medical outreach activities conducted on 12 and 15 May 2026 in Duk County, Jonglei State.

On Tuesday, 12 May 2026, the outreach team successfully conducted an integrated medical outreach in Jual village, reaching a total of 94 beneficiaries. The services provided included 66 medical consultations for patients suffering from common illnesses and health conditions, vaccination of 6 children through the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI), and nutrition screening for 22 children to identify cases of acute malnutrition and support early intervention.

The outreach activities continued on Friday, 15 May 2026, in Patuenoi village, where the team reached 131 beneficiaries with essential healthcare services. During the outreach, 88 patients received medical consultations, 8 children were vaccinated through routine EPI services, and 35 children underwent malnutrition screening as part of efforts to improve child health and nutrition outcomes within the community.

These integrated outreach interventions remain critical in improving access to essential healthcare services for underserved populations who often face significant barriers in accessing fixed health facilities. The outreach team also continued to strengthen community engagement and awareness while working to increase service coverage and meet the planned project targets.

Yo’ Care South Sudan expresses its sincere appreciation to the NEAR Network/Amalna for the financial support that continues to make these outreach activities possible. Special recognition also goes to the above-mentioed grantee partner, for its continued collaboration and support toward improving healthcare access for vulnerable communities in South Sudan. The organisation remains committed to delivering quality, people-centered healthcare services and responding to the urgent health needs of communities affected by limited access to healthcare services.
